We are, first and foremost, family breeders. We do not operate a commercial kennel or a large-scale breeding facility. Instead, our puppies are raised as part of our household, underfoot, and in the heart of our family life. We breed for the love of the breed, driven by a desire to preserve the remarkable temperament and health that make the Maltipoo such an exceptional companion.
How It All Began
Our journey did not start with a business plan; it started in our kitchen, years ago, with our first Maltipoo. She was a gentle, intuitive soul who seemed to understand us better than most humans. When she was with us, the house felt complete. The joy she brought to our children and the steady, calming presence she offered during our quietest moments changed our perspective on what a dog could be to a family.
After experiencing the unique intelligence and affectionate nature of the breed, we became deeply invested in its future. We realised that responsible breeding was a way to share that specific kind of happiness with others. We didn't want to just "produce" puppies; we wanted to raise them with the same intentionality and warmth that made our first dog so precious to us. That is the philosophy that continues to guide every litter we welcome into our home today.
Our Standards
Breeding for the "love of the breed" is not a passive sentimentāit is an active discipline. We believe that ethics are defined by the actions we take when no one is watching. Our standards are built upon three core pillars:
- Health Above All: Our breeding programme is strictly informed by genetic health screening. We select parents not just for their appearance, but for their structural soundness and health profiles, ensuring we give every puppy the best possible foundation for a long, healthy life.
- Home-Raised Socialisation: Our puppies are not raised in a garage or an outbuilding. They are born and raised inside our family home. From their earliest days, they are exposed to the daily rhythm of lifeāthe sound of the vacuum, the clatter of the kitchen, children playing, and the presence of other pets. This early socialisation is crucial in developing a confident, well-adjusted temperament.
- Lifelong Support: When you bring one of our puppies home, you aren't just a customer; you become part of our extended family. We provide guidance, answer questions, and support our puppy owners for the entirety of their dogās life.
