We stand firmly behind the health and temperament of the puppies we produce. Our breeding programme is built on rigorous health testing, sound husbandry, and a commitment to producing functional, healthy companions. Every puppy leaves our home with the assurance that they have been given the best possible start in life.

The Guarantee Coverage

We provide a comprehensive health guarantee that covers hereditary and congenital defects for the first 12 months of your puppy’s life. This cover is provided under the following conditions:

Initial Veterinary Assessment: Each puppy is thoroughly examined by a registered veterinary surgeon before leaving our care. This includes a clinical exam, initial vaccinations, and microchipping.
Congenital Defects: Should a licensed veterinarian diagnose your puppy with a life-altering congenital or hereditary defect within the first year, we require a second opinion from a veterinarian of our choosing.
Resolution: If a confirmed defect prevents the puppy from living a normal life, we will work with you to provide a replacement puppy or a return of the purchase price, provided the puppy is returned to us or humanely euthanised on professional veterinary advice.

Owner Responsibilities

This guarantee is a mutual agreement. To ensure the ongoing health of your Maltipoo, the following obligations must be met by the owner:

Routine Veterinary Care: You must ensure your puppy receives regular booster vaccinations, annual check-ups, and ongoing parasite control (flea, tick, and worming treatments) as recommended by your local vet.
Dietary Standards: The puppy must be maintained on a high-quality, nutritionally balanced diet suitable for a small breed.
Safety and Exercise: Owners must avoid strenuous or high-impact exercise until the puppy’s skeletal structure is fully developed (typically 12–18 months).
Proof of Care: In the event of a claim, you must provide full veterinary records demonstrating that the puppy has received consistent, preventative care.

Exclusions

Our guarantee does not cover the following:

Common Puppy Ailments: Conditions such as hypoglycaemia, kennel cough, internal/external parasites, or viral infections occurring after the puppy has left our custody, as these are environmental and preventable with proper care.
Injuries and Accidents: Any injury caused by neglect, misuse, or accidental trauma.
Elective Procedures: Costs associated with spaying, neutering, or any non-essential surgical interventions.
Temperament: As temperament is influenced by training and environment, we cannot guarantee specific personality traits once the puppy has settled into your home.

Making a Claim

If you suspect a hereditary health issue, contact us immediately. Documentation from your veterinary surgeon, including clinical reports and diagnostic imaging (if applicable), must be provided within 14 days of the initial diagnosis. We do not honour claims for veterinary expenses or surgeries undertaken without our prior written consent.
